Kenton Black are recruiting for a permanent Quantity Surveyor vacancy based in Perth, Scotland. Our client, a well-established building contractor with a strong reputation across Scotland, is seeking a proactive and commercially astute Quantity Surveyor to support a growing portfolio of commercial and residential projects. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and enjoy managing costs and contracts, this role offers a rewarding opportunity—with a competitive salary of £40,000–£60,000 per annum DOE, plus car allowance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage project costs from initial estimates through to final accounts
- Prepare, review, and negotiate contracts and subcontracts
- Monitor budgets, forecasts, and financial performance across multiple projects
- Liaise with site teams, project managers, and stakeholders to ensure smooth delivery
- Provide accurate reporting and advice on commercial risks and opportunities
What You Bring:
- Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor within construction projects
- Excellent knowledge of contract administration and cost management
