Kenton Black are recruiting for a Planner on a permanent basis in the Glasgow area.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Planner to join a leading Tier 1 main contractor delivering a diverse portfolio of construction projects across the Central Belt of Scotland.

The successful candidate will play a key role in the planning and delivery of predominantly education-sector developments, working closely with operational teams to ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently and in line with programme expectations.

Key responsibilities will include the preparation, development and maintenance of detailed construction programmes, monitoring project progress and identifying potential risks and delays, supporting project teams with programme reporting and recovery planning and liaising with key stakeholders to ensure project objectives are achieved.

The successful candidate will have previous experience in a planning role within the building construction sector and demonstrate a strong understanding of project delivery from pre-construction through to completion.

Applications are particularly welcomed from candidates with Tier 1 main contractor experience.

Candidates with only civil engineering or infrastructure backgrounds will not be considered for this position.

As a reward, you will join a well-established contractor with a strong pipeline of secured work across Scotland.
