An exciting opportunity for an M&E Project Manager to join a Tier 1 Main Contractor in the Trowbridge area. As a major UK contractor, my client has a diversified workload across different sectors of Civil engineering, including Water Infrastructure, Heavy Civils, Highways, Roads, Earthworks, etc. They boast a strong reputation for providing whole-life solutions, high standards of project delivery, and an ability to innovate.

The role:

Reporting to the Senior Contracts Manager, the M&E Project Manager will be responsible for a number of medium-sized projects within the Wessex Water Framework. The main responsibilities include managing multidisciplinary projects from conception to completion, ensuring they meet project requirements, customer satisfaction, safety standards, quality standards, and commercial objectives. The role requires managing relationships internally and externally.

This position suits an ambitious, driven individual who thrives in a high-performing, supportive team. Experience within civil engineering, preferably from a main contractor background, is essential.

Candidate requirements:

  • Degree or HNC/HND in a relevant technical discipline
  • Understanding of commercial issues affecting project performance, including assessing value and evaluating variations
  • Experience working on Water Civil Engineering Schemes (Sewage Schemes experience advantageous)
  • Driving license essential
