Freelance Finishing Manager\\nLocation: Manchester (City Centre) \\nContract: Freelance / Temporary\\nStart: ASAP – February 2026\\nRate: £300 – £320 per shift \\n\\nWe are currently recruiting for an experienced Freelance Finishing Manager to join a Tier 1 Main Contractor on a high-profile development in Manchester. This is an excellent opportunity to be part of a flagship project with one of the UK’s leading Tier 1 contractors.\\n\\nRole & Responsibilities: \\n\\nAs Finishing Manager, you will take full responsibility for managing and coordinating all internal and external finishing works to achieve programme, quality and safety targets. Key duties will include:\\n•\\tOverseeing all finishing trades through to successful handover\\n•\\tManaging subcontractors, quality control and defect resolution\\n•\\tDriving programme against key milestones and reporting progress\\n•\\tCoordinating with Site & Project Management teams\\n•\\tEnsuring works are delivered to the highest standards of quality and safety\\n•\\tManaging snagging, commissioning and client handover\\n•\\tMaintaining accurate site records and RAMS compliance\\n\\nKey Requirements: \\n\\n•\\tProven experience as a Finishing Manager on large residential developments\\n•\\tStrong background with Tier 1 main contractors\\n•\\tExcellent knowledge of internal fit-out, façades and finishing packages\\n•\\tSMSTS, CSCS and First Aid (essential)\\n•\\tStrong leadership, organisational and communication skills\\n•\\tAbility to work to demanding programmes and quality standards\\n________________________________________\\n\\nTo apply: Please submit your CV or contact Dan Standish at Kenton Black (Leeds) for more information
