This is a permanent opportunity paying a competitive salary. I am currently recruiting for a Maintenance Technician to join a busy operational site based in Prescot.
The role: This position will involve supporting the day-to-day running of the site through a combination of planned maintenance activities and reactive repairs, ensuring equipment and facilities are maintained to a high standard.
Responsibilities:
- Carry out preventative maintenance across site equipment and infrastructure
- Respond to maintenance issues and breakdowns as they arise
- Assist with the installation, upgrade and replacement of equipment and systems
- Support general site upkeep including basic plumbing, joinery and repair work
- Help with the movement and setup of equipment within operational and office areas
- Maintain accurate records and maintenance logs in line with quality procedures
- Contribute to site improvements, refurbishments and ongoing projects
- Ensure all tasks are completed in accordance with health and safety regulations
- Provide general support across the site as required
About you:
Essential:
- Level 3 Electrical qualification (or equivalent)
- 17th or 18th Edition wiring regulations
- Experience within a maintenance, facilities or engineering environment
- Strong hands-on approach with the ability to troubleshoot issues
- Able to work both independently and as part of a team
