Kenton Black are recruiting for an exciting Project Manager opportunity with a leading Tier 1 main contractor in the Aberdeen / Aberdeenshire area, on a permanent basis. The client is a nationally recognised contractor renowned for delivering complex, high-value construction projects across multiple sectors. With a substantial pipeline of secured works in the North East, they are seeking a highly capable Project Manager to lead multi-disciplinary project teams and ensure successful delivery from inception to completion, maintaining the highest standards of safety, quality, and commercial performance.
Responsibilities
- Lead the delivery of construction projects, ensuring programme, quality, budget, and safety targets are met.
- Oversee day-to-day project operations and coordinate site management teams, subcontractors, and suppliers.
- Ensure all works comply with company processes, industry standards, and H&S legislation.
- Manage project reporting, progress reviews, risk management, and stakeholder communication.
- Work closely with commercial teams to monitor costs, variations, and overall project financials.
- Drive high levels of performance, problem-solving, and proactive planning across all project stages.
What You Bring
- 5+ years' experience managing construction projects as a senior site manager or project manager, within a main contractor environment.
- Proven track record delivering medium-to-large scale projects to high quality and safety standards.
- Strong leadership and organisational skills with the ability to coordinate multi-trade teams.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management capabilities.
- SMSTS, CSCS, First Aid and relevant construction or project management qualifications.
