We’re looking for a motivated Building Surveyor to join a well-established Liverpool office as part of their growth plans for 2026. Following a successful 2025, which saw the business win multiple sought after awards, expand into new sectors and introduce additional service lines, the Liverpool office is entering an exciting period of investment offering the chance to contribute to a busy, supportive team working across a wide variety of sectors and projects.

You’ll join a multidisciplinary office with a strong presence across public buildings and estates, residential and housing, education, retail, healthcare, commercial, manufacturing, and defence markets. The consultancy prides itself on a progressive culture that supports professional development, wellbeing, and long‑term career aspirations.

You’ll be joining a team with a mix of experience levels, (several chartered Surveyors and other APC candidates), a collaborative culture, and a strong commitment to professional development. This position involves delivering a broad range of building surveying and project management services—from technical inspections and reporting to project delivery, design input, and contract administration.

The business operates a structured and successful APC programme driven by an L&D team with key sponsors in the Liverpool office to help navigate through your chartership.

  • Delivering professional services and project work to agreed standards and deadlines
  • Communicating clearly with colleagues, clients, and project teams to keep work progressing smoothly
  • Representing the business confidently at meetings, site visits, and networking events
  • Assisting with building surveys, site assessments, specifications, maintenance planning, and contract administration
  • Supporting senior surveyors on larger or multi‑disciplinary projects
  • Investigating and reporting on building defects
  • Helping prepare and negotiate dilapidations claims
  • Monitoring construction work on site
  • Contributing advice on construction, refurbishment, repair, and maintenance across a range of property types

Full UK driving licence. Confident IT skills (including Outlook, Word, Excel, AutoCAD, NBS, etc.)
