Kenton Black are partnered with a Food Testing testing facility in Ipswich who are seeking a diligent Sample Preparation Technician to join their dynamic team.
The successful candidate will not require prior laboratory experience, as training will be provided. However, those with a history in production, food services, or retail are highly encouraged to apply.
Key Responsibilities of a Sample Preparation Technician:
– Accurately registering and preparing various food samples for analysis.
– Ensuring that sample preparation is completed in accordance with established SOPs and ISO17025 standards.
– Maintaining a clean and safe work environment in line with health and safety protocols.
– Managing sample inventory, including tracking, storage, and disposal, as per guidelines.
– Collaborating with laboratory personnel to facilitate efficient workflow and timely completion of tasks.
Sample Preparation Technician\’s are required to have:
– A high level of proficiency in English, both spoken and written, is mandatory.
– Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow standard operating procedures precisely.
– Basic computer skills for data entry and sample tracking.
– Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
