Kenton Black are recruiting for a General Foreman on a permanent basis in Aberdeen. An exciting opportunity has arisen for a General Foreman to join a leading civil engineering and infrastructure contractor, working across a variety of roads, civils and hard landscaping projects throughout Aberdeen and the surrounding areas.
The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering high-quality works, ensuring projects are completed safely, on time and to specification. Key responsibilities will include:
- Overseeing daily site operations
- Managing subcontractors and direct labour
- Ensuring works are delivered in line with programme and quality standards
- Enforcing health & safety procedures on site
- Coordinating activities across multiple work fronts
- Maintaining effective communication with Site Engineers, Project Managers and the wider project team
Experience delivering roads, infrastructure and hardscaping projects is essential, with previous exposure to Tier 1 or main contractor environments highly desirable, although candidates from reputable regional contractors will also be considered.
Ideally, you will have a strong background operating as a General Foreman or Senior Supervisor within the civils sector, with excellent leadership and organisational skills. You will hold a valid SSSTS or SMSTS (mandatory), CSCS card and First Aid certification.
As a reward, you will join a well-respected contractor with a strong pipeline of work across the North-East of Scotland.
