Overview
Are you an experienced Health, Safety, Environment and Quality professional looking for a new challenge with a leading contractor? You have an exciting opportunity to join a reputable civil engineering contractor operating across the utilities and civil engineering sector as their HSEQ Advisor, covering schemes across the Greater Midlands. Due to the nature of the projects involved, you will have demonstrable experience of civil engineering environments and mitigating the risk in these environments.
Responsibilities
- Visiting various sites and integrate with the delivery teams and providing a solutions-led approach
- Provide operational safety, health, environment and quality support throughout the region
- Conducting regular site inspections to support operational staff working across civil engineering and rail schemes
- Providing a key liaison in Health, Safety, Environment and Quality with internal and external stakeholders
- Driving best practice in a challenging health and safety environment
Qualifications
- NEBOSH-qualified (MINIMUM)
- Experienced in utilities or civil engineering projects (ESSENTIAL)
- Dynamic and personable
- Able to engage with site teams with safety, health and environment issues
- Driven and autonomous
Compensation and Benefits
This is an excellent chance for you to help the company drive their Health, Safety & Environment culture. You will earn a competitive salary of between Β£45-55,000 (dependant on experience) plus car and package with flexible working entertained where practicable.
