A leading, specialist Groundworks and Civil Engineering contractor are looking for a Health & Safety Coordinator to join their ranks during an exciting period of growth. You will be an important and effective team member of high-functioning HSQE department.

Reporting in the Senior Health & Safety Manager, you will be expected to be:
• Familiar with the content and to assist in the development and maintenance of the corporate Integrated Management System
• Actively promote of a positive health, safety, environmental and quality culture
• Managing documentation and ensuring effect liaison with the wider H&S team
• Be proactive at Health & Safety meetings demonstrating a passion for safe working
• Providing support to the Health & Safety Manager and Advisors and full administrative support to the HSEQ Department
You will provide a key HSQE interface and liaison for the wider company and will be expected to actively contribute towards the team’s continuous improvement. You will also be:
• NEBOSH/NCRQ-qualified or working towards
• Experienced in a similar role, preferably within a civils or construction contractor (ESSENTIAL)
• Well-organised and effective at problem-solving
• Driven to learn and develop HSQE knowledge
• An effective communicator and self-starter
• Customer-focussed
• Efficient with a good eye for detail
This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious individual to forge a career in Health & Safety; joining a reputable organisation that will provide a platform for you to develop and progress your skills. You will earn between £25-27,000 as a basic salary (plus package) and be able to form part of a dynamic and efficient HSQE team
