Exciting new opportunity! I am currently working with a leading testing laboratory that is looking to hire a Sales Executive to join their team permanently in Grimsby. This is a home-based role (travel to the site once a week is required) covering the Yorkshire and Lincolnshire region. This opportunity would suit someone with an interest in sales, science, food testing, or business development who is looking to build a long-term career within a growing organisation.

Responsibilities:

  • Building relationships with new and existing clients across the region
  • Identifying new business opportunities and generating sales leads
  • Arranging client meetings and conducting sales calls
  • Preparing quotations and supporting the onboarding process
  • Working closely with operational and commercial teams to support business growth
  • Updating CRM systems with client activity and market information
  • Supporting promotional and marketing activities where required

Requirements:

  • A degree in Science or equivalent is highly desired
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Organised and motivated approach
  • Interest in sales and commercial development
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Previous sales or customer-facing experience would be beneficial but not essential
