This Technical Manager opportunity is with a Residential Groundworks and Civil Engineering company.
With 70 years in operation and a £60m turnover, this established Residential Groundworks company is looking to expand its operational team with the inclusion of a Technical Manager to oversee Site Engineers.
There is also an excellent opportunity for career progression into more senior roles.
Projects range from £10m–£40m in value and include working in tandem with main contractors on civil engineering and groundworks packages for major housebuilders.
As such, candidates will ideally come from a Residential Groundworks background and have experience delivering similar schemes.
Overview
- Ensuring technically compliant and economic design solutions are developed at the design stage
- Schedules, prioritises and reviews own work
- Analytical thinking and decision making
- Ability to select economic solutions at tender stage
- Understanding of time and the implications of decisions
Education
- Qualified to a minimum of HNC/HND through completion of a technical apprenticeship, or degree
- Chartered Engineer would be desirable but not essential
