Freelance Site Engineer Residential Groundworks & Infrastructure Location: Huddersfield Duration: 18 Months (Start November) Rate: £300 per shift (CIS / Ltd available) My client are a civil engineering and groundworks contractor who are seeking an experienced Freelance Site Engineer to join their team on a long-term residential development in Huddersfield. SCOPE OR WORKS: • Roads & sewers • Drainage and attenuation tanks • Plotworks • Retaining walls & masonry packages DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: • Setting out for roads, sewers, drainage, and associated infrastructure • Checking and interpreting technical drawings and plans • Quality assurance and record keeping of completed works • Liaising with site management, subcontractors, and design teams • Ensuring works are delivered safely, on time, and to specification REQUIREMENTS: • Proven experience working as a Site Engineer within residential /infrastructure projects • Proficient with robotic total stations and AutoCAD • Strong knowledge of QA procedures and site documentation • Ability to work independently and as part of a site team • Valid CSCS card and relevant site tickets Apply now with an up to date CV or contact Dan Standish at Kenton Black (Leeds) for more information
