Are you a driven Health & Safety professional looking to join an established multi-disciplinary construction company? A leading, specialist contractor are looking for a Health, Safety & Environmental Manager provide experienced support on major utilities schemes across the water sector. Reporting into the Head of Health & Safety you will be: • To assist in external supply chain audits and construct reports with recommended improvements • To undertake site inspections and internal audits across the project and ensure delivery of tailored improvements • Provide expert guidance and support on health and wellbeing matters, ensuring compliance with management systems regulatory requirements • To assist in the development of behaviours to support business Health and Safety initiatives and deliver a positive safety ‘culture’ • Conduct focused project site health and wellbeing training as required • Motivate and develop employees and coach from site to board level The company are renowned for adding value to strategic partnerships with clients and regulatory bodies and as such you must be a consummate professional with the ability to support and influence, across internal and external stakeholders. Key competencies include: • NEBOSH/NCRQ/NVQ-qualified in Health & Safety (ESSENTIAL) • Experience in the Utilities and Civils sector (ESSENTIAL) • Experience in underground services and the use of a CAT and Genny (ESSENTIAL) • A proactive, good communicator • Strong working knowledge of ISO 9001, 14001 and 45001 • Experience of driving a positive health & safety culture • CMIOSH or working towards (PREFERABLE) • PTS/Sentinel (PREFERABLE) This is a fantastic opportunity for you to join an industry-leading group and driving their Health, safety & Environmental agenda to drive continuous improvement throughout their Environmental impact.
