Overview
Freelance Earthworks Manager — Goole, Start 6 October, Duration: 6 months, £300 per shift.
Role & Responsibilities
- Take full responsibility for day-to-day delivery of earthworks operations on site.
- Manage plant, and labour to ensure safe and efficient progress.
- Oversee quality assurance of earthworks activities.
- Ensure compliance with programme, specifications, and HSEQ standards.
- Liaise with the Project Manager, client representatives, and other stakeholders.
- Maintain accurate records, reporting progress, issues, and variations.
Requirements
- Proven track record in managing bulk earthworks packages
- Ideally experience in highways or infrastructure schemes.
- Strong knowledge of earthworks methodologies
- Experience working with subcontractors
- CSCS (Black or Gold), SMSTS, and First Aid.
- Full UK driving license and right to work in the UK.
