Kenton Black are recruiting for a permanent Commercial Manager vacancy covering major construction projects across West of Scotland. Our client, a leading tier 1 main construction contractor with a strong pipeline of build projects, is seeking an experienced and commercially astute Commercial Manager to oversee the financial and contractual aspects of a flagship development. If you’re passionate about driving commercial success and thrive in a dynamic project environment, this role offers a rewarding next step—with a competitive salary of £80,000–£95,000 per annum plus car allowance and a 10% annual bonus.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the commercial function on a major construction/build project from inception to completion
- Manage budgets, forecasts, and financial reporting to ensure profitability and cost control
- Oversee procurement, subcontractor management, and contract negotiations
- Ensure compliance with contractual obligations, company policies, and industry regulations
- Provide strategic commercial advice to senior management and project teams
