Are you a Senior Design Manager with experience working within Pre-construction? An exciting opportunity has come about for a motivated individual to join a leading Main Contractor within the construction industry.

The company: With national offices across the UK, this contractor offers projects across a variety of sectors. With an office based in Solihull, they are seeking to bolster their Pre-construction team with an individual who holds a proven history of delivering projects with values of up to £35 million.

The Role:

  • As the Senior Design Manager, you will manage and coordinate the design process, ensuring that all designs are delivered to the highest standards assisting the work winning team in Tenders.
  • Manage and mitigate design risks throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring that all designs meet the requirements of the client and all relevant stakeholders, working closely with the Project Manager and Commercial team to ensure that designs are delivered within budget and timescales.
  • You will also provide technical expertise and guidance to the team on all design-related matters.

  • Previous experience as a Design Manager within the construction industry (Preferably within Pre-construction)
  • Strong track record of delivering complex projects on time and within budget
  • Reside within a commutable distance from Birmingham
