Kenton Black are recruiting for a permanent Contracts Manager vacancy covering the Tayside and Fife regions.

Our client, a reputable house builder with a strong pipeline of residential developments across East Scotland, is seeking an experienced and commercially astute Contracts Manager to oversee multiple housing sites. If you’re passionate about delivering quality homes and thrive in a fast-paced environment, this role offers a rewarding next step—with a competitive salary of £60,000–£70,000 per annum plus a 20% performance bonus.

Key Responsibilities:
– Manage the delivery of multiple housing developments from pre-construction through to handover
– Lead site teams and ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to high quality standards
– Monitor progress, resolve issues, and maintain strong relationships with subcontractors and suppliers
– Ensure full compliance with health & safety regulations and company procedures
– Report regularly to senior management and contribute to strategic planning and resource allocation

What You Bring:
– Proven experience as a Contracts Manager or Senior Site Manager within the house building sector
– Strong leadership and communication skills with a focus on team development and performance
– Excellent commercial awareness and ability to manage budgets and programmes effectively
– In-depth knowledge of NHBC standards, building regulations, and health & safety legislation
– SMSTS, CSCS, and First Aid qualifications preferred
