Senior Quantity Surveyor Cheshire Up to £75,000 plus package
Our client is a well-established specialist contractor operating within the infrastructure and civil engineering sectors.
With decades of experience delivering structural maintenance, asset strengthening, concrete repair and refurbishment projects, they have built an excellent reputation for delivering technically complex schemes safely, efficiently and to the highest standards.
Due to continued growth, they are seeking an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their commercial team.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced commercial professional with strong NEC contract knowledge to play a key role in delivering a diverse portfolio of infrastructure projects while supporting and developing a high-performing commercial team.
This is a hybrid role, with approximately 2–3 days per week in the office.
Key Responsibilities Lead and support a small commercial team.
Manage subcontractor accounts and commercial agreements.
Oversee cost reporting, valuations and payment applications.
Drive change management and maximise project value.
Support budgeting, forecasting and commercial reporting.
Provide commercial guidance to project teams.
Build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
About You
You'll have
Experience as a Quantity Surveyor or Senior Quantity Surveyor within civil engineering, infrastructure or a similar sector.
Strong knowledge of NEC4 contracts (essential).
Experience managing subcontractors and commercial contracts.
Excellent commercial, communication and organisational skills.
A proactive approach with strong attention to detail.
