Kenton Black Finance are supporting a Carlisle based business to appoint a new Senior Management Accountant. This diverse role offers a combination of technical accounting and commercial duties including management accounts, budgeting, forecasting and business partnering.

Your New Role as Senior Management Accountant:

  • Preparation of monthly management accounts with commentary and analysis
  • Preparation of budgets and forecasts, identifying trends and risks
  • Assist with the year end process including external audit, liaising with external bodies including auditors
  • Business partnering across non-finance departments to provide financial information and advice
  • Delivery of ad hoc financial analysis and reports for senior management to aid effective strategic decision making
  • Ongoing review of existing procedures and systems, implementing appropriate improvements

Experience & Qualifications Required to Apply:

The ideal candidate will be fully qualified (CIMA, ACCA, ACA) with solid technical accounting capabilities and good commercial acumen. Strong systems skills including Excel are required along with proven ability to enhance financial processes.
