A well recognised Groundworks and Civil Engineering contracting business requires a Buyer or a Senior Buyer to join the team and take on the duties surrounding the Buyer role for the companies construction sites.

Materials and Plant:

  • The buyer will be fully responsible for material price negotiation
  • Setting up supply chains with new suppliers
  • Organising long term deals
  • Planning project procurement strategy
  • Overseeing stock usage on sites
  • Communicating with site teams
  • Dealing with small and large plant procurement
  • Buying: Rebar and drainage, Concrete, aggregates, muck away and blacktop, Steel Works, etc
