Our client, a well-established building and civil engineering contractor, is seeking an experienced Site Engineer to join their team on a major infrastructure project in Lincolnshire. The successful candidate will be involved in the delivery of earthworks and drainage packages, ensuring works are completed safely, accurately, and in line with project specifications.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Setting out for earthworks and drainage works
  • Producing and maintaining accurate site records
  • Carrying out surveys and quality checks
  • Liaising with site management, subcontractors, and the wider project team
  • Ensuring works are delivered in accordance with design drawings and specifications
  • Supporting health, safety, and environmental compliance on site

SCOPE OF WORKS:

  • Surface water & foul drainage installations (including SUDS)
  • Section 278 / 38 highways works
  • Earthworks and groundworks packages
  • Chambers, attenuation tanks, pumping stations
  • Service diversions and deep drainage
  • Reinforced concrete structures

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Proven experience working as a Site Engineer on civil engineering projects
  • Strong background in earthworks and drainage packages (within Highways)
  • Competent using surveying equipment and setting-out techniques
  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications
  • CSCS card essential
  • SMSTS or SSSTS advantageous
  • Full UK driving license
