We're working with a well-established and growing construction company in the Bicester area that's looking to recruit a Trainee Quantity Surveyor. No previous Quantity Surveying experience is required – if you have a positive attitude, a willingness to learn, and a strong work ethic, our client will provide the training and support you need to succeed.
The Role
- Working alongside experienced Quantity Surveyors, you'll gain hands-on experience across a variety of projects while learning all aspects of the commercial side of construction.
- Your responsibilities will include:
- Assisting with cost estimates and project budgets.
- Measuring quantities from drawings.
- Supporting the preparation of valuations and cost reports.
- Helping to manage subcontractor payments and procurement.
- Learning how to prepare tender documents and quotations.
- Working closely with site and commercial teams to monitor project costs.
