An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Project Manager to join a leading UK contractor delivering the enabling works package for a major, nationally significant development in Bedford.
Working as part of an experienced project team, you will be responsible for the safe and successful delivery of enabling works, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget and to the highest standards of quality and safety.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the delivery of enabling works from mobilisation through to completion.
- Coordinate site teams, subcontractors and suppliers.
- Monitor programme, cost, quality and risk.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety and environmental standards.
- Build strong relationships with clients, consultants and the supply chain.
- Provide regular progress reporting and drive project performance.
About You
- Proven experience as a Project Manager within construction or civil engineering.
- Background delivering enabling works, infrastructure or major civil engineering projects.
- Strong leadership, planning and communication skills.
- Commercial awareness and experience managing multiple stakeholders.
- Degree/HNC/HND in a relevant discipline preferred.
- SMSTS, CSCS and Full UK Driving Licence.
