Site Engineer (1 Months Holiday Cover) Doncaster Area Start: Tuesday 1st September 2026 – 4 weeks Freelance: Outside IR35 My Client are looking for an experienced Freelance Site Engineer to provide 4 weeks’ cover on the Drainage Package of a Highways Scheme. The successful Site Engineer will be responsible for setting out line and level for drainage works, working closely with the site team to ensure works are delivered accurately and to specification. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES • Setting out drainage works to line and level. • Carrying out accurate engineering and surveying duties on site. • Checking drawings, specifications and levels. • Working closely with the Site Agent and construction team. • Maintaining accurate site records and working to the required tolerances. • Identifying and resolving any setting-out issues on site. REQUIREMENTS • Previous experience as a Site Engineer on civil engineering/infrastructure projects. • Strong experience in drainage setting out. • Competent with surveying and setting-out equipment. • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings. • Strong attention to detail and accuracy. • Relevant qualifications and experience. • CSCS and relevant site qualifications preferred.
