Our client is a national contractor with a turnover in excess of £500m. They have several large civil engineering packages to deliver on the UK's largest infrastructure project (HS2) and are in need of a Freelance Procurement Manager in Oxfordshire. The assignment is expected to last for a minimum of 6 to 12 months.
You will be responsible for procurement on a section of works, managing the tender, award & recommendation of works packages/orders.
The successful candidate will have:
- Proven ability of drafting formal Subcontract documents
- Experience with NEC contracts
- Civil Engineering Contractor background
- Knowledge of supply chain principles, procedures and methods
This role is paying up to £550 per day (Umbrella/PAYE), circa £1600 per week after all Tax/NI deductions.
