Our client is looking for an Analytical Development Scientist to join their growing team.

Responsibilities:

  • Support development and validation of analytical procedures
  • Prepare and approve results for tests
  • Perform routine and non-routine analysis using analytical techniques
  • Support in method development
  • Train junior colleagues and/or client employees in analytical techniques and electronic system
  • Initiate and follow-up OOS results
  • Implement continuous improvement
  • Document data as dictated by current client policies and procedures
  • Ensure that all documentation is accurate and conforms to the quality standards
  • Participate in the preparation of reports

Requirements:

  • BSc or equivalent in Chemistry or a related discipline
  • Experience of working within a developmental lab and conducting pharmaceutical analysis
  • Experience in analytical techniques as well as modern instrumental equipment (HPLC, Karl Fischer, Dissolution, Mass Spectroscopy and other Spectroscopic techniques)
  • Ability to interpret data
  • Troubleshooting of instruments and methods
  • Experience of working within a GMP environment
  • Able to develop relationships with colleagues
  • Able to communicate data to clients
