Kenton Black are recruiting for a permanent Assistant Site Manager position in Aberdeen. Our client is delivering a high-quality new build commercial development in the Aberdeen area and is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Site Manager to support the lead Site Manager in overseeing day-to-day operations. With a project duration of several months and potential future works across the region, this opportunity suits a professional eager to gain further experience in large-scale construction while contributing to a landmark build.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Site Manager in coordinating daily site activities for a new build commercial project
- Support the management of trades, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure smooth workflow
- Monitor progress against programme, ensuring works meet specification and health & safety standards
- Maintain accurate site records, compliance documentation, and reporting
- Foster clear communication between the project team, client, and workforce
What You Bring:
- Background in construction management, ideally with exposure to new build commercial projects
- Valid SMSTS, First Aid, and CSCS credentials (Supervisor card preferred)
