Kenton Black are recruiting for a Freelance Site Manager (Joiner) in Aberdeen City Centre, for 6 weeks. The client is an established fitout contractor with a busy workload across Aberdeen/Aberdeenshire.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Overseeing the day-to-day operations of the refurbishment project.
- Coordinating and managing subcontractors and site personnel.
- Ensuring all work is carried out in compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Conducting regular site inspections and addressing any issues promptly.
- Maintaining project schedules and ensuring deadlines are met.
- Managing resources, materials, and equipment efficiently.
- Communicating effectively with clients, stakeholders, and team members.
- Ensuring high-quality craftsmanship and attention to detail in all joinery work.
Minimum Requirements
- As a minimum, you must be local to the area or willing to travel to Aberdeen City Centre each day as accommodation will not be provided.
- You must have your SMSTS, CSCS & First Aid tickets alongside a City & Guilds Carpentry/Joinery certificate.
As a reward, you will be paid an hourly CIS rate which will be paid to you on a weekly basis (paid a week in lieu).
