We are recruiting for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join a well-established groundworks contractor, now expanding its commercial team due to continued growth and a strong pipeline of secured and tendered projects. With an annual turnover of approximately £80m, this business offers long-term stability and genuine career progression.
Key Responsibilities
- Maximise contract profitability across multiple projects
- Prepare and manage client variation quotations
- Produce accurate monthly cost and value reports
- Apply value engineering principles to improve project outcomes
- Manage commercial aspects of residential groundworks packages
- Carry out the full range of Quantity Surveyor duties across live sites
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor within residential groundworks
- Strong commercial awareness and contract management skills
- Effective time management and ability to meet deadlines
- Value engineering experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
