A newly created Management Accountant position has become available within a Preston based business which has been operating for 20+ years. The new Management Accountant will work within a friendly team of 5 accounts staff in a varied and hands on position supporting with all financial operations for the business.

Your New Role as Management Accountant:
Reporting to the Head of Finance, as Management Accountant duties will include:
- Production of the management accounts pack including P&L, balance sheet, commentary and analysis
- Balance sheet reconciliations
- Posting journals, accruals and prepayments
- Assist in budget preparation
- Assist with year end reporting, statutory reporting and audit
- Support in driving process improvements and efficiencies
- Provide ad hoc financial analysis and reports to support effective decision making
- Support with purchase ledger as required
Experience & Qualifications Required to Apply:
The successful candidate will be established in a similar hands on management accounting remit and be comfortable in providing transactional accounting support as required. Experience of working in a fast-paced and high volume environment is desirable with a forward thinking approach. Additionally, strong communication skills are required with the ability to work cross-functionally to partner with various internal stakeholders.
