I am working with a Tier 1 Main Contractor that are delivering a high-rise apartment scheme in the center of Manchester. I am looking for an experienced Freelance Design Manager to join the team and oversee design coordination on this prestigious project.

THE ROLE
As Design Manager, youll be responsible for managing design development across all stages, coordinating consultants and subcontractors, and ensuring information is delivered in line with programme and quality expectations. The main purpose of the role is to work with the client, respond to the notes on the drawings and get them approved by the client.

REQUIREMENT
Proven experience managing design on high-rise residential or complex projects
Previous work with Tier 1 or major contractors
Strong understanding of technical drawings, buildability, and compliance
Excellent coordination and communication skills
