The Opportunity
We are working with an established civil engineering and infrastructure contractor to recruit a Proposals Coordinator to join their Birmingham team. This is an excellent opportunity for an organised and proactive individual to support the preparation and delivery of high-quality tender submissions, working closely with bid, preconstruction, commercial and operational teams across a diverse portfolio of civil engineering and infrastructure projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate the preparation, development and submission of tender and proposal documents.
- Manage bid schedules, submission deadlines and document control throughout the tender process.
- Liaise with bid managers, estimators, commercial teams and operational staff to gather information for submissions.
- Produce and format professional tender documents, presentations and supporting materials.
- Ensure submissions comply with client instructions, evaluation criteria and formatting requirements.
- Maintain bid libraries, case studies, CVs, project references and company credentials.
- Support the development of compelling written content showcasing the company's experience and technical capabilities.
- Coordinate internal reviews, approvals and sign-off processes.Identify opportunities to improve bid processes and the overall quality of submissions.
About You
- Previous experience in a proposals, bids, tenders or document coordination role.
- Experience within construction, civil engineering or infrastructure would be advantageous.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Word and PowerPoint.
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines and competing priorities.
- A proactive approach to working with stakeholders across different departments.
