A Contract Manager is needed for a role along the M62 Corridor (Pontefract to Manchester) with a well-established Contractor in the Civil Engineering sector, primarily focusing on Highways infrastructure.
This position offers an exciting opportunity to join a leading Civil Engineering Contractor known for delivering high-quality projects. We are looking for a highly motivated Contract / Project Manager seeking their next challenge.
About The Role:
As the Contract Manager, you will be integral to the management, direction, and successful completion of Civil Engineering projects up to £1m in a highways environment. You will collaborate closely with Quantity Surveyors and Site Managers, taking responsibility for the overall delivery of the project to programme, budget, and handover.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Programming of works
- Full operational overview of projects
- Conducting regular client meetings updating on progress
- Management of all site teams
- Ensuring Health and Safety is adhered to
- Report directly to the Head of Projects
About You:
- Previous experience as a Contract / Project Manager
- Previous experience on Civil Engineering schemes £1Million +
- Previous experience working on Highways schemes
- Live or able to commute across the M62 Corridor
- Experience of working on NEC Conditions of Contract
