A leading global construction and property consultancy is seeking a Project Manager for a rare opportunity to work on a long term (spanning minimum 5 years), high profile private estate development in Perthshire, delivering luxury residential properties and significant new infrastructure within a stunning rural setting.
This role offers the chance to contribute to a world class project while being part of a respected, ethical consultancy known for delivering high quality Project Management, Cost Management and Specialist Advisory services across the UK and internationally.
About the Role
You will be based on a major private estate development comprising of high end luxury residential units, significant new infrastructure including roads, utilities and services.
As a site based Project Manager, you will:
- Lead day to day project delivery across allocated zones
- Manage contractors, subcontractors and design teams
- Oversee infrastructure works including roads, utilities and groundworks
- Administer contracts and manage tender processes (main and sub contractors)
- Maintain risk registers and operate change control procedures
- Coordinate with the on site Client Lead and wider consultant team
- Adapt to shifting priorities driven by plot sales and programme changes
- Ensure confidentiality and professionalism at all times
- Close collaboration with a knowledgeable and engaged client team
You will be part of a supportive team, but responsible for leading your own workstreams and reporting directly to the client.
What We're Looking For
We are seeking a site-based Project Manager who brings:
- Strong infrastructure experience (roads, utilities, groundworks)
- Proven ability to work closely with contractors and senior stakeholders, supported by solid and demonstrable tendering experience (essential).
- A consultancy style approach: diplomatic, personable and confidence engaging with a wide range of stakeholders; from subcontractors to ultra high net worth clients.
- Experience leading design teams and managing project controls.
- An engineering or groundworks background is advantageous.
