You must meet all the ‘essential criteria’ also for your application to be considered. This role is a part time position, working on the basis of 3 full days/4 part days. You shall also have experience of operating within the education sector or one similar.

Company details and job overview: Based in East Lancashire, this Not for Profit organisation are a values driven employer of choice. With head office based within easy commute from the M65 and local train stations, they are recruiting for an experienced Finance Manager to lead the finance function.

With a focus on aligning process, systems and producing month-end management accounts, you shall manage a small team whilst working closely with the CFO to enable finance as a value add to stakeholders across the organisation.

Salary and Enhanced Benefits include: Salary up to £60,000 FTE with excellent benefits. Hybrid working, flexible arrangement available as well as access to an enhanced pension scheme.

Your new role as Finance Manager: As Finance Manager you shall oversee the production of accurate and timely management information to stakeholders, so they are well-informed with timely financial information in relation to operations. This will be done by creating, developing, and improving existing management information to support improving the understanding of non-financial managers and the key performance indicators affecting their business.

A role to manage a small team, you shall also enhance process and align systems in a multi-site operation. The Trust is in a period of growth; this role will enable finance and will take the lead on stakeholder engagement.

A hands-on role, with a varied set of requirements, this position is one where no day will be the same. As Finance Manager you will work closely with the Operations team and improve their understanding of the financial impact of decisions. The role will lead and oversee the delivery of effective Business Partnering and support the budget process, to ensure effective monitoring and reporting in this area so the business performs as per agreed expectations.
