Kenton Black Finance are exclusively supporting a fast-growth business with a global reach, as they look to recruit a Head of Finance. This innovative business has grown rapidly, doubling turnover in each of the last 3 years, with further growth forecasted. Senior leadership are open to new ideas and the new Head of Finance will have much opportunity to add value and drive improvements where necessary. Offices are within a commutable distance from Preston, Blackpool/Fylde and Lancaster (within 20-30 minute drive).

Your New Role as Head of Finance:
As Head of Finance, you will report into the CEO, leading a small finance team. The role includes a variety of hands on accounting duties whilst providing valuable strategic support to drive continued growth.
Duties will include:
- Review of monthly management accounts including commentary and analysis
- Preparation of board reports
- Consolidation of subsidiaries
- Weekly reporting of turnover and gross profit
- Budgeting and cash flow reporting
- Responsibility for PAYE, VAT and Corporation Tax for UK and EU entities, liaising with relevant external stakeholders as required
- Review existing systems and processes and identify areas for improvements, implementing these where appropriate
Experience & Qualifications Required to Apply:
The successful candidate will be fully CIMA/ACA/ACCA qualified, proven in a leadership role within finance. Involved in the detail of accounting, the new Head of Finance must also demonstrate ability to refine processes and support decision making and mentor the team as required.
