A privately owned SME in the Lancaster area are growing at a rapid rate and are now in the position to appoint a new finance lead. This newly created role will work closely alongside the Managing Director and take ownership for all financial activities within the business.

Your New Role as Finance Manager:
β’ Line management of 1 Accounts Assistant
β’ Overseeing all accounts payable and accounts receivable activities
β’ Month end reporting and management accounts production
β’ VAT returns
β’ Preparation of budgets and forecasts
β’ Preparing and processing payroll
β’ Responsibility for credit control
β’ Primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders
β’ Ongoing review of existing systems and processes, implementing improvements where necessary
Experience & Qualifications Required to Apply:
The successful candidate will be proven in a similar hands on and varied finance role. Experience of Sage 50 or Xero is beneficial. Staff management/supervisory experience is also required as well as the ability to communicate effectively with a variety of stakeholders, to deliver financial insight and advice.
