Company Details and Job Overview: Kenton Black Finance have partnered exclusively with a well-established Group of businesses who require a technically strong Group Accountant to join their finance function. It is an exciting time to join the business as they continue their growth trajectory through acquisition and organically. The UK Head Office is based in Carlisle – a hybrid or remote working arrangement is available for the successful individual with weekly or monthly office visits.

Your New Role as Group Accountant:

Reporting to the Group Financial Controller, as Group Accountant duties will include:

  • Statutory accounts preparation
  • Coordinating the group annual audit
  • Tax and VAT compliance
  • Financial reporting oversight for international entities
  • Developing group financial controls
  • Assist with group cash management and treasury reporting
  • Support with consolidated management accounts and board reporting packs

Experience & Qualifications Required to Apply:

Full qualification is required (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) with strong technical accounting skills and IFRS / UK GAAP knowledge. This is an ideal opportunity for a qualified practice accountant seeking their first industry role, or for an experienced Group Accountant who has experience operating across multiple entities in a similar role.
