Your New Role as Head of Finance
Reporting directly to the CEO, as Head of Finance you will provide strategic leadership overseeing all day‐to‐day activities within the finance function.
- Line management of the finance team, being responsible for any necessary training and development
- Maintain and review accurate and timely management accounts in line with deadlines
- Manage the budget process working closely with various budget holders
- Provision of financial analysis and reports to aid effective decision making relating to financial strategy, growth and operations, working closely with senior management and the board
- Lead the internal and external audit process, being the primary point of contact for external bodies including auditors
- Drive ongoing process and system enhancements and strengthen existing controls and policies
Experience & Qualifications Required to Apply
The successful candidate will be proven in a similar leadership and strategic finance role and ideally be fully CIMA/ACCA/ACA/CIPFA qualified (consideration will be given to candidates working towards full qualification or demonstrating sufficient relevant experience as QBE).
Strong technical accounting capabilities are required along with proven ability to provide financial insight to various stakeholders. Experience driving positive change and improvements throughout a period of growth is advantageous as well as strong staff management/supervision skills.
