The position will be based in the PCB Department, within a team of people who manufacture high quality products for our customers. The role will be operating our wave solder machine, to ensure that the high-quality products are being manufactured at the level we require.
Responsibilities:
- Operating Machinery
- Setting Machinery
- Maintaining Machinery
- Meeting specific departmental & company targets
- Inspecting and finishing product prior before passing to next process
- Follow systems / procedures within the department, including Health & Safety regulations, Housekeeping, Work Instructions, 5S & Quality.
Skills, Experience and Person Specification:
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Working to tight deadlines with a high level of accuracy
- Experience using similar machinery preferable
- Understanding mechanical drawings/ artwork preferable
- 1 Year of soldering experience is required for this position, Full training on the machine will be provided
Job Specifics:
- Hours are 14:00-22:00 (training will be provided from 8am till 16.30).
- Leave one hour earlier than your contracted finish time every Friday (will be paid)
- 24 days holiday, in addition to bank holidays, increasing with the years of service.
