Kent is currently looking for a Project QA/QC Manager to play a key role in delivering world-class quality performance across major energy projects. This is a leadership position at the heart of our delivery teams, responsible for shaping and driving the quality strategy while ensuring our projects meet the highest standards of compliance, performance, and client satisfaction. Working within a future-focused organisation, you will help champion a strong quality culture aligned with Kent’s purpose and beliefs, contributing to some of the most impactful projects in the global energy sector.
In this role, you will lead the implementation and continuous improvement of the Quality Management System (QMS), ensuring it is effectively embedded across projects and consistently delivers value. You will partner closely with project teams and leadership to monitor quality performance, manage audits and certifications, and oversee the integrity of engineering deliverables from concept through to completion. With a focus on continuous improvement, you will proactively identify opportunities to enhance processes, strengthen governance, and ensure lessons learned are effectively captured and applied.
Beyond technical delivery, you will also play a vital role in developing people and capability within the quality function. From supporting recruitment and onboarding to mentoring and developing talent, you will help build high-performing teams that reflect Kent’s collaborative and inclusive culture. This role requires a strategic mindset, strong stakeholder engagement, and deep experience in EPC environments, making it a critical position in ensuring the successful, safe, and high-quality delivery of complex projects.
Skills & Responsibilities:
- Management & Meetings
- Schedule Management Review Meetings in accordance with requirements and facilitate the running of the meetings, produce minutes and track actions to closure.
- Monitor and independently report to the Project management on the effectiveness of the QMS and provide recommendations for management review.
- Quality Strategy & Performance
- Analyze, report, give recommendations and develop strategies on how to improve quality performance.
- Contribute to achieve business and organization goals, visions, and objectives.
- Promote a positive quality culture throughout the organization.
- Identifying appropriate continuous improvement processes.
- Implement the quality performance measurement tools set by the company.
- Quality Management System (QMS) & Policy
- Understand and communicate the quality policy and the organizational context.
- Ensure an induction program is in place and carried out ensuring the requirements of the QMS are communicated.
- Produce Quality reports required by QMS and Client.
- Be familiar with document and record control practices ensuring that any/all quality documents comply with requirements.
- People & Development
- Assist in employee selection, career development, succession planning and periodic training for Quality personnel.
- Assist in the recruitment and onboarding activities of new Quality staff.
- Promote continued professional development of the Quality personnel ensuring that improvement plans are developed and where necessary training/mentoring is available for quality personnel.
- Project & Operational Support
- Provide the required quality inputs to support estimation and proposal processes.
- Support early engagement with the Project Team and assist the Project Quality personnel with the Quality Project start-up activities.
- Ensure project quality objectives are met.
- Assess quality resources needs to execute the work.
- Champion the Project Quality culture, behaviours, and engagement activities.
- Review/Approve Project Quality plan and Procedures.
- Monitor the performance of third-party assigned for design activities.
- Provide support to ensure that a Project lessons learned process is implemented.
- Audits, Compliance & Certification
- Lead and monitor Corporate/project audit schedules.
- Prepare and coordinate with Certification body for 3rd party audits to maintain ISO Certificate.
- Coordinate and perform functional quality audits for the implementation of work processes and contract requirements and procedures.
- Engineering & Deliverables Quality
- Manage the QA review of milestone submittals of engineering design packages.
- Ensure that all design staff adhere to the Quality System in their preparation and checking of project deliverables.
- Ensure that all deliverables have been checked in accordance with the Quality System Procedures prior to allowing transmittal to the Client or third parties.
- Non-Conformance & Corrective Actions
- Maintain familiarity with the control of non-conformance processes and procedures (Product & Process) ensuring the necessary requirements are adhered to e.g., documenting, Root Cause Analysis, Investigation, Corrective Actions and actions to prevent reoccurrence.
- Ensure that corrective and preventive actions raised under NCR’s are implemented to address the root cause (as applicable) and to prevent recurrence.
In addition to the responsibilities listed herein, the employee may be required to perform other ad-hoc tasks as needed or directed by the supervisor or management. These tasks will be within the reasonable scope of the employee's skills, capabilities, and role within the organization. All such tasks will be assigned considering the employee's current workload and with respect to their professional development.
Your knowledge/skills, education, and experience:
- Engineering degree holder with proven experience on EPC QA/QC Management.
- Knowledge of the ISO-9000 series International Standards.
- Lead Auditor ISO 9001 certification from a recognized organization.
- Demonstrated Experience in a similar role.
- Proven experience working in a management position.
- Demonstrated Experience in Quality Management System.
- Supplier Quality Management.
- Aramco EPC Project Experience and Approval.
- Superior teamwork spirit with objectives-driven collaborative skills.
- Ability to multitask and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced work environment and coordinate cross-functional projects.
- Ability to think strategically, with good problem-solving skills and sound decision-making.
Communication:
- Excellent command of the English language in both oral and written communication skills.
Behaviour/ Core Competencies:

- Certified ISO – QMS, RCA Investigation.
