Scope of Work:
- Design electrical distribution systems in a multidisciplinary project environment, focusing on feasibility studies, FEED, and detailed design for new facilities.
- Prepare electrical equipment specifications, data sheets, and procurement requisitions.
- Develop and coordinate protective relay settings and electrical system protection studies.
- Perform load listings and electrical equipment sizing to support design and procurement activities.
- Produce LV and MV single line diagrams with strong emphasis on relay and metering systems associated with substations and e‑houses.
- Design motor protection and control schematics and wiring diagrams.
- Review vendor engineering deliverables for compliance with technical specifications, regulatory requirements, and applicable codes and standards.
- Provide coaching, mentoring, and guidance to engineering team members on project execution.
- Apply extensive experience in power system studies utilizing ETAP.
- Prepare Bills of Materials (BOMs) and major equipment cost estimates for feasibility studies, project development bases (PDB), and detailed engineering stages.
- Define scopes of work, develop engineering cost estimates, and prepare detailed engineering deliverable lists for proposals and project execution.
- Participate in internal project meetings, client discussions, and vendor review sessions as required.
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with clients, project teams, and stakeholders.
- Review project designs to ensure constructability, operability, and compliance with project standards and objectives.
Key Requirements:
- Degree in Electrical Engineering (BEng / MSc)
- Chartered Electrical Engineer / Member of the IET
- Significant number of years of experience in the refining, petrochemical, chemical process, or in the power generation industry
- Proven experience in designing electrical distribution systems within a multidisciplinary project environment in FEED, EPC, and detailed design for facilities
- Effective communication skills (written and verbal)
- Team player, proven multi‑tasker with strong organisational skills
- Self‑motivated and goal‑oriented
- Strong computer background including experience with MS Office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
