Job Description:
Scope of Work: Kent is looking for a Senior Process Engineer to deliver Pre-FEED, FEED and Detailed Design Projects in the Energy and Chemicals industry. Reporting to the area lead engineer or lead engineer on feasibility, concept, FEED, detailed design or EPC project, the Senior Process Engineer will develop the following deliverables:
- Process Basis of Design
- Input to Basic Engineering Design Data
- Process philosophies
- Block Flow Diagram and Overall Material Balance
- Process Simulations
- Heat & Material Balance
- Process & Utilities Flow Diagrams
- Design Pressure & Design Temperature Diagram
- Input to Material Selection Diagrams
- Input to Instrument List
- Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams for Process units, Utility & Offsite systems and Infrastructure
- Active participation in project meetings
Key Requirements:
- Engineering degree, honours or equivalent in Chemical Engineering
- Experienced in feasibility, Pre-FEED, FEED, detailed design and EPC projects
- Knowledge of applicable international and industry specifications, standards and codes
- Capable of performing above deliverables/activities with no direct supervision and within agreed schedules and budgets
- Responsible for communicating technical/project issues potentially impacting the project to the lead engineer.
- Senior Process engineer is accountable to the area lead engineer, lead engineer or project engineer.
