Key Requirements: TBC, but may include:
- Being technically responsible for all pipeline and riser engineering work and allocating, supervising and directing preparation of project deliverables.
- Subject to project size, will delegate some level of supervision and specific checking activities to appropriate competent personnel.
- Leading or contributing to concept development and feasibility studies for challenging marginal, HPHT, and deep-water subsea developments in the Oil & Gas sector, and design and analysis of CO2 and H2 onshore and offshore pipelines in the Low Carbon sector.
- Leading or contributing to pipeline and riser integrity management, life extension, decommissioning studies, failure investigations, consultancy studies etc.
- Leading or contributing to subsea cable routing, mechanical design, analysis and assessment in the Offshore Wind and Oil & Gas sectors.
- Leading or contributing to analytical or non-linear FE methods to solve diverse and complex pipeline and subsea cable problems.
- Leading or contributing to assessment of thermoplastic, composite and flexible pipe.
- Preparing clear, concise reports against time, cost, and quality objectives.
