Business Administration Level 3 Location: Maidstone (ME15 6JQ) Qualifications Required: GCSE Level 9-4 (or Grade A-C) in English and Maths, or equivalent qualifications. Company trading for only 2 years, mainly based in Kent / South East, supplying consultants within the wastewater industry. Travel Information: Ideal candidate should be located near or within Maidstone. Description of Vacancy DPJ is offering a successful candidate the opportunity to join a new company that has been trading successfully for 2 years, with secured future contracts. Mainly working within the wastewater industry in Kent and the South East, with plans to expand into social housing and construction sectors. We seek a suitable candidate to join a small, expanding company as an integral team member, with potential to progress to Senior Admin Officer as the company grows. Responsibilities Attend documentation filing, assist with preparation and presentation of financial documents overseen by the financial director, and assist in ISO 9001 documentation. Wage Β£8 per hour Hours Initially, 3 days a week, 9:30 am to 3 pm. Hours will increase after a 3-month probation period. Weekly paid hours start at 19.5 hours, increasing after probation. Additionally, 6 hours of paid training weekly. Skills Required Customer care skills Problem-solving skills Analytical skills Logical thinking Creativity Initiative Non-judgemental attitude Physical fitness Qualifications GCSE Grade 9-4 (or A-C) in English and Maths, or equivalent qualifications. Training Provided On-the-job training while working towards the Apprenticeship Standard. Business administrators develop transferable skills applicable across sectors, supporting progression towards management roles. The programme includes assessments, virtual training, and tailored support, with at least 6 hours of training per week during working hours. As of 1st April 2025, the NMW for Apprentices is Β£7.55/hour for 16-18-year-olds and first-year apprentices aged 19+, with other apprentices earning appropriate wages per age. Please do not contact the employer directly. You are responsible for your travel expenses to and from work. Ensure you have means to commute daily while awaiting your first wages.
