Required ASAP – 1:1 Teaching Assistant to join the dedicated and talented team of staff at Trottiscliffe CE Primary School. The role is for 30hrs per week, 9am-3:30pm each day, term time only. Initially for a fixed-term of one year.

It would also be an advantage to have NVQ Level 2 or 3 qualifications, or other relevant qualifications, and be willing to participate in further training when relevant to support the child’s needs. Any specific experience of ASD or ADHD would be advantageous.
We are seeking to appoint a positive, motivated, caring and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our staff team. This role will primarily involve working 1:1 with a child in the classroom supporting learning, as well as working in the classroom and working with small groups of children. The ideal candidate will have a good understanding of supporting children with barriers to learning.
We are a small school, tucked away in a beautiful village, although accessible by main roads, with a strong Anglican ethos based on key values such as respect and compassion. We have developed a challenge approach to learning, linked to high quality feedback, which creates learning resilience in our children.
