We are looking for an enthusiastic teacher to join our Humanities team in our school. We would welcome applications from an experienced teacher or an ECT looking to start their career in a supportive environment with a strong ECT programme.

This role will be heavily focused on A Level teaching of Social Sciences (e.g. Sociology, Psychology and Criminology) but we are open to being flexible with applicants' specialisms. Applicants should be hard working, professional and have excellent communication and organisational skills.

It is vital that all staff have high expectations of students, colleagues, and of themselves, displaying energy and enthusiasm in and out of the classroom. We are a school with a strong sense of ethos and values and are intentionally inclusive, which means we have a high proportion of children with SEND and are proud of this.

The continuous improvement of the school is clear to external visitors and our performance outcomes, and we embrace our position in the heart of the community, with high quality facilities for staff and students as well as the local community, including an onsite leisure centre and cinema. We are now over-subscribed and the school of choice for our local community.

Closing date for applications: Monday 22nd June at 9.00am. We reserve the right to interview and offer to a strong candidate prior to the closing date. Therefore, it is strongly recommended that candidates submit their applications as soon as possible. We are happy to consider applicants seeking a part time role.
