Pastoral Support Assistant to join our incredible team in our SEMH school.
We’re a fiercely supportive, relentlessly passionate team that is completely committed to our students. We laugh together, problem-solve together, and stand shoulder to shoulder on the toughest days. No two days are ever the same.
Working in pastoral support within an SEMH setting isn’t for the faint-hearted.
You’ll meet young people who have experienced significant trauma, loss and adversity.
Their behaviour is often a form of communication, and your role will be to look beyond the surface to understand what they really need.
Some days you’ll be calming a crisis.
Some days you’ll be celebrating a student making it through a lesson they couldn’t face last week.
Some days you’ll be the trusted adult who changes the direction of a young person’s life.
